I was never going to get a clean shot here, the bridge was packed and the vibrations caused as people walked past made a clean long exposure nearly impossible. So I waited for a good moment and a few seconds of empty walkway and came away with this image. My unknown subject in the foreground behaved beautifully - holding perfectly still as the passing crowds swirled past him. The flames projected onto St Paul's in honor of #LondonsBurning didn't hurt either.

It was a gorgeous evening, The tide was out and the sky was colourful. In view are some of London's most famous landmarks... Tower Bridge lit up in purple dominates the centre. To its right is the Walkey Talkey (Fenchurch Street building), The Cheesegrater or Leadenhall Building), the Gerkin or St Mary Axe to name but a few. On the left are some river boats and Butler's Warf.
I like this picture because it has a certain kind of roughness about it... When the Thames empties out during low tied, I am often amazed by the objects left behind... anything from parts of engines, shopping trollies (of course), bones, changes, ropes, wooden structures from the days wooden vessels sailed the Thames to pieces of pottery and clothing.
I decided to include it in the picture... The prettiness above and the scruffiness below... both add something special.
I hope you like it :)
